Cody and Steph Lords Park Spring Wedding

You may recognize these cuties from their engagement session last summer at the Naperville Riverwalk. They are so adorable its not even fair. You'll see when you scroll through :).

Cody and I have known each other since the 3rd grade when our sisters became best friends. It means the world to me when I can document a friend's wedding. I can't even put into words how much I love it. Being there, having their trust to do their wedding justice... its honestly one of the best parts of the job.

I may have said this before in their engagement blog post, but I think these two are perfect for one another. The things I heard from friends and family through out the day, how each changed others lives for the better was such a wonderful thing to hear. I think Meggie, Cody's sister, said it best in her speech when she thanked Steph for bringing her and her brother closer.

One of my favorite aspects of their wedding was their reception. It was at a bar! So laid back. And they had THE best dessert table. I think I took a million photos not to mention sampled a few treats. You know, to make sure they weren't poisoned ;) The desserts were made by the bride, her mom and Cody's mom, as well as a bakery up the road. 

The groomsmen also were hilarious and had some sweet dance moves. I believe there was a lot of stanky leggin' going on.
