Tony + Susan Geneva Courthouse Wedding and Mount Saint Mary's Park in St. Charles
This was my first courthouse wedding and I am in love. There is something so special about having your closest friends and family witness you get married in a intimate ceremony. Their ceremony lasted about 5 minutes and then we all ran around a gorgeous park before it rained. It was the perfect afternoon.
Tony and Susan have been together for a long time. They couldn't remember exactly though they were thinking maybe 13-15 years. They had already planned a trip for the following week and decided right before that they were finally going to get married! Everyone was so excited! Both sets of their kids came as well as their sisters. The whole family had been waiting on this for awhile.
Because this was such a quick decision to get married Susan's co workers made her this awesome veil at work. I honestly loved it more than if she had gotten a real veil! It was made of plastic, stickers, and tissues. She had almost forgotten it was in the car (rain was looming all day and she didn't want to ruin it) and as we were walking back to the car she asked if we could get a few photos of it. I am SO glad she remembered. That thing had a life of its own!
