Our home at Christmas Villa Park 2020

I may or may not have had our Christmas tree up the week after Halloween. And its not because I am in love with Christmas. I do love me some Christmas string lights in the neighborhood and in our home (hence the tree going up so early and because 2020) as well as binging all the awful Christmas romcoms there are. I think I have watched almost every single bad Christmas movie on Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.

Halloween, our 4th or July BBQ and NIU’s Homecoming will forever be my favorite times of the year. But I was excited to set up our little holiday ledge in our new home this year. I even made a garland for our tree!

One day while I was stuck in a rut of video editing (video editing is one of the hardest parts of my job) I decided I needed a creative break to come back and look at the video with fresh eyes. So I documented our Christmas set up on our basement! These photos are now a spread in our 2020 album.
