Wedding Vendor Spotlight: 4EVR - A New Site to Better Help Connect Couples with Vendors
I had the opportunity a couple weeks back to learn about 4EVR and I knew I needed to hear more. They are a company who is dedicated to connecting engaged couples with the right wedding vendors and vice versa! Instead of mindlessly scrolling through a wedding site where hundreds of vendors are listed and not sure if they meet your budget or style, you can work with 4EVR to find the right team for you and quicker! This benefits not only those planning a wedding but vendors as well. I truly believe not every couple is for you. I think every couple deserves an incredible team that can help bring their vision of their wedding to life. But that doesn’t always mean me. If someone is looking for a light and airy style photographer or wants more traditional photos on their wedding day we probably won’t be the right fit for them. And that is fine! I am so excited that this platform can help connect me with couples who are looking for what I have to offer! This could be a total game changer for the wedding industry.

Tell us more about who you are and your background?
We tend to speak about 4EVR as a team because we operate with those practices in mind. We LOVE "we" language and while we are being careful as we develop and prepare for launch, we still revisit (and adjust) our company's best practices and core values today. Who we are is extremely similar to our community, and their story is almost identical to each person's story as a part of the 4EVR team at this time.
In a nutshell, we serve a community of clients and eventPROs who are active in the wedding and event industry. We strive to create a better product and overall community that both parties can thrive in. So much that our team is certified / licensed in many of the services we plan to offer. We want to continue to understand what it means to empathize with our community regardless it be an MUA, DJ, photographer, wedding planner, or even a client.
Our goal is to efficiently connect the best known eventPROs to event clients for free using temperament, personality, and event traits. Then-after, we help both parties create a hands-on experience using our portal's tools. We call those tools “Smart Tools” and they are accessible on almost any device that has an internet connection.
What is 4EVR and how did it get started?
We would like to think of ourselves as your favorite dish you remember coming home to or eating at a restaurant. You know, for those tough days that require a hot meal that makes you want seconds (or even thirds). A startup with key ingredients that are mixed, stirred, and heated to create a sense of joy, happiness, and relief.
4EVR was an idea that was started by an event and wedding professional. 4EVR was founded with efficiency, nominality, and "team" in mind. Efficiency, but not only meaning quick. Nominality, but not only meaning cheap. Team, because we embrace collaboration, but also being different.
This allows us to hire and work with many people who represent different groups. As a result, our operational practices and organizational set up encourages access to what could technically be top talent not represented in technology today. We believe that many backgrounds and experiences embrace a different perspective to create a better product.

What is your wedding background?
ido4EVR and our team is built with key ingredients (team members) that have been around the wedding and event industry for as long as 28 years. In addition to that, our company is built with elite event professionals, but also non-event professionals (like engineers and developers) who are certified and licensed in services we partner with. This helps us create an unbiased product with a more fresh perspective mixed in with a seasoned taste.
What are your favorite things about weddings or the wedding industry?
Evolution! Have you ever noticed how time changes fast and traditions are almost the same at the foundation, but the event and wedding industry evolves with new ideas and technology every other year. We want to be a part of that change and conversation to help a client and eventPRO create exactly what they prefer. This is regardless of it being a conservative idea or new trend.
With that in mind, our favorite things to see is how we (or others) can make that idea come to life for either a more nominal price, efficient timeline, or easier process.

Anything else you'd like us to know?
We spoke briefly about the team. How we prefer to model our internal workforce is with having what’s called a distributed force in mind. We are designing our company to allow partners and employees to work from the comfort of where they prefer as an organization. That means some employees can travel living in an AirBnB with access to great WiFi or even work from a local coffee shop.
In an effort to foster true diversity within our organization, we embrace the philosophy that making employees feel comfortable in the workplace enhances overall productivity and welcomely invites different perspectives. We are seeking talent over experience, with a specific focus on developing unique strategies for finding solutions and solving problems in our engineering and marketing departments as we scale.
