Jamie and Matt Blackwell Forest Preserve Warrenville Illinois Engagement Session

The moment I got in the car after Jamie and Matt’s engagement session I called Lex and I told him this was one of the most fun sessions I have had. My face hurt from laughing and smiling the whole time! Jamie and Matt were seriously a blast to work with. And this was my second time having that opportunity :)

Jamie was actually a bridesmaids for one of my sweet sweet brides in 2018. The fact that she remembered me and wanted to work with me after being a bridesmaid at a wedding I shot makes me SO happy.

Jamie and Matt were just so easy to talk to. We were all telling stories and cracking jokes. I about died a few times during their champagne photos (make sure to scroll to the bottom of the post). We discussed the best way to pop the Champagne to get some spray and it was a bit… anticlimactic to say the least haha but we redeemed ourselves when they wanted to pour champagne into each others’ mouths from the bottle. I have wanted to do that at a shoot for so long and its as hilarious! You two are the coolest!

Their wedding is this upcoming September and I cannot wait. I know this year’s wedding planning is still unsure. Plans may change a few times or weddings may have to yet again pivot. But I know, however their day ends up happening its going to be amazing.
