Lindsey and Keith Afton Forest Preserve DeKalb Illinois Engagement Session

Could I be any more obsessed with these two and their engagement photos?? Lindsey and Lex work together so I was really excited and honored when she reached out about us doing their engagement session and wedding. They wanted a pretty outdoor spot for photos that we could do smoke bombs at as well as bring the car Keith has been working on. We started off getting cozy in the car and I just think these photos are so cute!! Love that they wanted to incorporate something that was meaningful to them, especially Keith, into the session. I 10/10 would recommend having some sort of activity for your shoot. They chose using the car and smoke bombs so it was a win for me.

They both admitted they were super nervous for their session but I think you will see as you scroll through that they KILLED IT. Keith got so into at one point I thought we were going to use up the entire box of smoke bombs they ordered for this and their wedding ;)

Story time! I remember the first time I met them was actually in Orlando! We both happened to be in Florida at the same time. Lex and I were planning on going to HP World with our friends Ryan and Hannah and we invited Lindsey and Keith to join. It was such a fun day. Lindsey got her first wand! Keith got to take photos with the car from Back to the Future. We drank butter beer and screamed our heads off on the Gringotts ride. So much fun.
