Sierra and Josh Winter Engagement Session Fullersburg Woods Oak Brook Illinois

I got a text from Sierra about the weather a few days before their session. It was supposed to be 5 degrees with a chance of feeling like it was even colder out. I told her we could either reschedule or bundle up. Josh and her decided to bundle up! While I am not personally a fan of the winter, I can say that is really is so beautiful out after it snows. I mean, look how magical their session was?? Lex and I were fortunate, we could wear double layers of everything. They were out there in the engagement session clothes, having fun and being all cute like troopers. I would say the freezing temps were worth it!

Sierra and Josh met on Hinge which is a dating app. They both laughed when I asked but to me, this is just another normal meet-cute! We have had many couples and friends meet on dating apps :) They went on a couple dates and then Josh had to go away on a work trip for 5 weeks. What crazy timing?? Even though they couldn’t be together in person, they called each other everyday and it gave them a chance to really get to know one another. Which I find to be so sweet.

I am so excited for their wedding this August and cannot wait to document another part of their beautiful story <3
