Katherine and Thomas One Year Anniversary Wedding Portraits Alfred Caldwell Lilypool Chicago

Katherine and Thomas were married last May on their balcony after Covid changed their wedding plans. They were initially planning on a small wedding at Alfred Caldwell Lilypool. While they both agreed that would have been a beautiful wedding, getting married just the two of them in their apartment felt even more like them <3

Fast forward a year later, and they decided they wanted to celebrate with some photos of them all dressed up in their wedding attire at their venue! Which I totally think was the best way to celebrate your one year anniversary :) Photos are always a good idea. And don’t they look incredible in their wedding attire??

This was my first time at the Alfred Caldwell Lilypool. I have driven past it a bunch when in the area but had not idea this little gem was there. Being that it was a Friday morning, we practically had the whole place to ourselves! Which was perfect to explore at our pace and create some magic.
