Nicole and Ben Backyard Summer Wedding DeKalb Illinois

Last year was really hard for Nicole and Ben as I am sure it was for many couples who were planning on getting married. Their plans changed several times and they ultimately decided to postpone until this year. They didn't feel comfortable getting their families together last year and weren't sure what their wedding would potentially look like this year.

After going back and forth they decided what was best for them and what they really wanted to do was have an intimate wedding in Nicole’s back yard with just their immediate families. It was the perfect day! Nicole and Ben got to do everything they wanted to: they wore their fun wedding outfits, had an old fashioned unity moment during their ceremony, got pies and coffee from their favorite local places, and so much more.

I think there is a big misconception with small weddings that you miss out but that is so NOT true. I think they got to fit in even more of what they wanted having this intimate wedding day. I think the videos and photos speak for themselves :)

Nicole and Ben, we love you guys so much and are so happy for you!! Your wedding day was perfect in every way. And it makes me happy that you two are finally married and got to have your special moment <3
