Boll Maternity Photo Session Oak Brook Shopping Center 2021

Lex and I are having a baby!! And did our maternity session at Oak Brook Shopping Center, one of our all time favorite places to go. I am to kidding when I say this, but I even brought up our love for this place in our vows. We come here almost weekly to mostly walk around, maybe get some ice cream. Its our go to spot to shop for special occasions and has some delicious restaurants! If you have never been, you should go.

I have been wanting to do a session for a few years here and finally was able to. Our best friends, Nicole and Ben, helped us out that night by taking the photos. We knew we wanted to do something super nontraditional as we do most things in life. And I am SO happy with how these turned out!! They are probably some of my favorite photos of the two of us. Our life, our home, and our nursery are super colorful and nonconventional so I think these match all of that perfectly.

We have been getting some questions to see our registry from other parents-to-be and wanted to share a link to our registry! If you are having a baby and want some inspiration on what to include on yours, feel free to check ours out. It is really important to us to keep things super gender neutral. Too often I see posts that someone is having a boy and everything is blue and cars. Or having a girl and its all pink and bows. But boys can like pink and girls can like cars too. And thats just not us. So our goal is just to keep things colorful and fun until Baby Boll can decide for themselves what they like! Though I really hope this kid loves Dinos, because we are very much a dinosaur family ;)

I will be sharing photos of Baby Boll’s nursery in a couple months so stay tuned once we have finished working on it! I am SO excited. They are definitely going to have the coolest room in the whole house.
