Boll Family Milwaukee Summer Vacation 2024

This is our 3rd Boll Family vacation! This year we went to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Which I have only ever been for my bacholrette party and my SIL’s. So it was extra fun to explore well just for fun!

Some highlights include:

-Milwaukee Public Zoo - if you like going to zoos, this is a great one. Its big! Lots of walking but the habitats are so pretty and natural looking. Plus we went on special event day where there was tons of food vendors and stages for music.

-Milwaukee Public Art Museum - I have been wanting to come here for awhile! Such a gorgeous museum. We went on Thursday night which currently from 4-8 is pay what you want admission.

-Mitchell Park Domes Horticulture Conservatory - these looked so cool from the photos! I would say from favorite part was probably the little kids section. While the domes were cool, this activity was much shorter than I anticapted. Definitely not an all day thing. But the small kids room had lots of fun activities to do.

-Paloma Taco and Tequila - this was a last minute decision and some of my favorite food of the trip. I got a taco pocket which was basically a crunch wrap supreme but with good ingredients and it was GINMOROUS.

-Mader’s - pretty popular spot for German food downtown and it is actually owned by some distant cousins of ours! They changed their name a long time ago and dropped the first ‘e’. Their giant pretzel was amazing!!

-Collectivo - While these are also in Chicago, they started in Milwaukee! Such good lattes and evern better breakfast sandwiches.

-Bobble Head Museum - drove by this one day and we all couldn’t stop talking about how curious we were about this. It is the largest collection of bobble heads in the world with 10,000 of them in one place. It is actually super cool!!

-Milwaukee Public Market - love good food and drinks and cutes Milwaukee gear? This place has all three! You can buy cheese curds from one booth and get an amazing bloody mary at another!
