Emily + Evan Joliet Ironworks Engagement Session

Emily and Evan are NATURALS in front of the camera. Look at how cute they are?! I hardly had to guide them and they were perfect. So in love. Always smiling and looking lovingly in each other eyes. Goofing off. They are gonna be pros next November when their wedding rolls around!

Emily suggested Ironworks for their shoot. We had never been before but she used to run the path for Cross Country. It was awesome!! I want to go back and explore some more :) I loved the creepy abandoned feel on their beautiful grey day. We then ran around downtown Joliet and got to peak inside their reception venue! It is an old train station and I am obsessed! Who knew you could have a reception in an old train station?? As we explored we heard all about their wedding plans and I am just so excited for them. I can’t believe we are getting closer to their one year mark.

Emily and Evan, you two are just about the sweetest people and are so perfect for one another. I am so you happy you two reconnected and fell in love all those years later!

Here is a cute story of how they met <3

We met in pre-school actually! We were in the same class for 2 years and actually had little crushes on each other. We had play dates at each other’s houses. We just lost touch but always remembered each other. We re-connected on Facebook during college during a time that we were both single. It was really like right time right place/perfect timing sort of thing. We both met up when Evan was on a break from school and it was really just like love at first sight (again).
