Annemarie + Lawson Snowy Engagement Session by Lake Michigan Chicago

These two are SO in love. And adorable. And fun. And I basically can't wait until September to shoot their wedding. AHHHH.

It was not a pretty sight when we woke up on the morning of their session. It had snowed a bunch again and it was still coming down. I didn't mind the snow but I was concerned about their session. You always want your clients to have the best time with you but sometimes weather can get in the weather. I texted Annemarie to double check with them and they were so excited, it didn't matter that the snow was still coming down!

It was awesome near the lake, you couldn't see anything but white. It was also a little scary since everything blended in you couldn't write tell what was what... like the edge that could drop you into the lake. They ran around in the snow and had a snow ball fight like champs though and then we all got brunch at Theater on the Lake.

These two are some of the most genuinely awesome people and I am so excited to be a part of their day. Getting brunch with them made me feel like we had been friends for years.

Funny story, Lawson actually proposed to Annemarie on the same day Lex and I got engaged! Our hotel looked out over the Bean and I sat looking at it all morning. Little did I know these two cuties would get engaged there later that night. What are the odds? Now they will be the first wedding we photograph as husband and wife <3

PS Lawson, I am so taking you up on the Zoo Lights after your wedding. We found out that both of us are obsessed with the zoo so it was basically a photographer-client match made in heaven.

Make sure to keep checking in to see their wedding photos. Their are promises of sweet dance moves in our future!!
