Carol + Erik Immaculate Conception Church and Chevy Chase Country Club Wedding

I met up with Carol and Erik when they initially inquired last summer at a Starbucks and it was like we had always been friends. They were such genuinely happy people! I knew their wedding was going to be a blast from all the stories they were telling about their friends and family.

They got engaged on Christmas Eve. Erik found someone who was available to stealthily photograph his proposal as he got down on one knee and asked Carol to marry him a Olive Park. It was SO cold that day Carol was done walking around and ready to go grab a bite to eat but Erik managed to get her to stay for just a little bit longer. It was worth the cold and the wait :)

One of the coolest things Britni and I got to see was that the ceremony and the speeches were done in both English and Spanish. I am by no means fluent in Spanish but can pick up on a few things and just loved watching a ceremony in another language. It was beautiful.

Congratulations to the happy couple! They are currently enjoying their honeymoon and I am so jealous of their trip. Looks like they are having a blast from their photos on Instagram :)
