Stephanie and Tim Promontory Point Chicago Engagement Session

While I love a good golden hour just as much as the next photographer, there is something so dreamy about a chilly, grey, windy day when you are out shooting an engagement session. And with the beautiful view of the lake and skyline at Promontory Point it was even more romantic that Friday we ran around for Stephanie and Tim’s session.

I had never actually been out to Promontory Point before but had seen photos from other session there! Stephanie and Tim had gotten engaged there earlier this year on the random spring day in April where it snowed. Stephanie joked that the day before had been beautiful and out of no where the snow came. But I think that makes it even more memorable.

We ran all over “diversifying their shit” as Tim had said :P And Stephanie even got a few minutes of dog snuggles. I think more session should involve some time dog love. They even broke out their jersey’s for a few photos! They may not have agree on everything like which team to support but they definitely could agree on football. Sports may not be my thing but I love how they bring people together.

I am so excited to hangout again at their wedding next summer and have even more fun capturing gorgeous moments like these <3
