Elizabeth and Mike City Hall Chicago Wedding

Elizabeth and Mike’s wedding day has to be one of the coolest days I have been a part of. They new doing a big wedding wasn’t for them so they decided on their 10 year anniversary they were going to get married at City Hall.

I got an email back in February from Elizabeth and knew I needed to be a part of this. Not only were they going to get married on their 10 year anniversary, but they were also surprising their moms with their wedding! Both were meeting Mike under the guise that they were going ring ring shopping. Little did the know, that Elizabeth would be waiting there too! They hired a limo to drive them around the city so we could get photos and sip on champagne. I think it should be illegal to have THIS much fun on a Monday. I honestly walked around with my mouth hurting from smiling so much.

Hanging out with the 4 of them all day was one of the highlights of my year! They shared champagne with me and told me stories about Elizabeth and Mike and I felt like part of the family. I cannot thank you all enough for including me in such an awesome moment in your lives.

A couple weeks after their wedding, Sarah, Elizabeth’s mom, reached out to me about creating a slideshow of their photos. It was such a cute idea and I am so happy it worked out! What a wonderful surprise for her daughter and son in law.

Oh, I might have left out one of the coolest parts of the day. The fact that their moms are best friends!! Does it get much better than that? They were so excited to officially be family and I just love that.
