Hardik and Reena Garfield Park Conservatory Proposal

One of my favorite things is to ask couples how they got engaged! No two stories are the same but all are equally wonderful. Whether you made a huge proposal or cozy one at home, if it happened the way you planned or you had to change everything, the important thing is that you are getting married to your best friend.

When Hardik reached out about proposing on Black Friday I was a little nervous we weren’t going to be able to be a part of with the holiday. SO glad we could because it was just beautiful! And seeing the surprised look on Reena’s face was too much fun. Lex and I, along with 2 videographers, 2 cousins, and a friend worked to make sure this was the best proposal. Hardik’s friend and cousins set up the petals, statue, and helped make sure the area was as cleared as it possibly could in the busy Garfield Park Conservatory. And they got this spot all to themselves for a few minutes! It was perfect.

I am so happy for these two and this adventure they are on. Marriage is the freaking best! I love being married to Lex. So when you find your person, hold on tight.

I will leave this post with a word of advice, if you are planning a proposal in a public space, have people help you. And make sure you have the appropriate photo permits. Hardik was on top of it all and helped make the evening run smoothly even with a few hiccups.
