Yelena and Jordan Backyard Naperville Illinois Springbrook Prairie Preserve Wedding
Yelena had me at backyard wedding when she first inquired but when she mentioned their love of Harry Potter I knew I really needed to work with them.If you are new here, Lex and I were married in my parents’ backyard and it was the best day ever. So I have a huge appreciation for backyard weddings.
Yelena and I connected just a few weeks before their wedding. She mentioned they were having their home decked out to be like a real venue for their ceremony. When I got to their house I was so impressed! The details the team had put together made the space feel so magical. She also rented these gorgeous vintage plates for their dinner and I was obsessed. Apparently, this was one of the most important details for their wedding day for Yelena! When they got engaged, one of the first things Yelena mentioned to her best friend Sabrina was that she needed vintage plates. And how awesome does it look? Definitely made for a unique dinner experience.
Lex was able to join part way through the night to help video their ceremony so I could focus on taking photos. It was another night of packing up and of feeling super grateful for the clients we get to work with. Yelena, Jordan, and their friends were so welcoming. It was like we were meant to be a apart of the party all along. They even gave us a gift bag with local items they love! Including a candle made in Aurora that I am obsessed with and will be gifting everyone a candle from. Just seriously so awesome.
So please, scroll away and get a glimpse into how fun it was hanging out with this group as Yelena and Jordan said I do.
