Nguyen Wheeler Fall In Home Family Session DeKalb Illinois 2020

Linh found me through one of my all time favorite families: the Sprinkles! Gretchen and I grew up together and lost touch during grade school and high school. We reconnected during college when her and John were engaged and I have been photographing all sorts of beautiful moments in their life since. She is a HUGE support to my business and posted about me a few weeks ago where Linh found me. Love being able to work with friends of friends! Gretchen and Linh’s daughters go to the same daycare :)

Linh called me a few days before nervous about the weather. It was forecasted to be pretty gross that morning (and it was) but I promised we would get some incredible photos no matter what! Grey rainy days are some of the best to shoot because the lighting is so even and beautiful. Plus, who doesn’t love a moody in home fall family session??

Linh’s mother joined in for the shoot and honestly some of my favorite photos are with her! The one where Thomas holds the umbrella for his Grandma when she steps out into the rain is so dang cute!! So happy to have met this sweet family, hope our paths cross again <3
