Danielle Headshot Portrait Session Wheaton Illinois 2020

Danielle and I met up in downtown Wheaton for her portrait session the other day. She mentioned she was hoping for some columns or fun walls that would work for a professional backdrop. She was about to start a new job and wanted to update her photo. Danielle knows how important having an updated photo of yourself on your networking sites is! Had to get a mix of standard headshots and some fun portraits.

Lex and I did curbside pickup from Burger Social in Wheaton the weekend before Danielle reached out. We actually did curbside twice from Burger Social that weekend because the food was THAT INCREDIBLE. So if you love good food, go check it out. I remember walking around downtown while we waited for our food thinking how cute it was and how I would like to do a session there. It was the perfect timing!

Not only did Danielle kill her session but it was so much fun catching up! We actually both used to do freelance work together for USF. I was pretty nervous messaging her to see if she would be up to do a shoot sometime. I’m an extroverted introvert and the introvert in me didn’t want her to think I was weird for asking. But I just loved her sense of style. Every time I saw Danielle she had the best outfits on. Plus she loves photography so I thought it would be a fun evening. And it was. We ended that night with poutine from Fuel & Creme in Villa Park and margaritas that we both secretly thought were way too strong. That was last September that we met up so we had a lot to catch up on!

One of my favorite parts about doing these headshot portrait session is hearing about what someone is passionate about. Danielle has a lot of awesome goals she is working on and this new job is a step in the right direction. I cannot wait to see all that she accomplishes in the next few years!
