Barter Family In Home Newborn Session Mount Prospect Illinois

Its been over a year and half since we photographed Annemarie and Lawson’s incredible downtown Chicago wedding! And now they have a BEAUTIFUL baby girl named Arya. I cannot tell you how much it means to me to be a part of our wedding couples’ lives after their wedding is over. I seriously love when I get a text or call finding out someone bought a home or is having a baby or adding a fur baby to their life. And then on top of that they ask me to document it?? It really is the best.

We spent the early afternoon hanging out with this new family of 3 in their new home! It is so cute. Lawson told us one of their goals for their home was a place they could bring their daughter back to after she was born and have her grow up there. They wanted it to be a place they made memories together. They have her nursery all decked out and a great yard for when she is older to play in. But she is so much lucky even beyond having a great home! Just how many times I heard both Annemarie and Lawson say “I love you” to Arya or kiss or cuddle her was so heartwarming. She is one lucky lady to have such wonderful parents!

Each lifestyle newborn session is different. Oftentimes I go to someone’s home within a couple weeks of them having a baby. I know those times can be hard adjusting to being parents or being parents to a newborn and a toddler or child. So being able to come into someone’s space during that time is not one I take lightly. There may be crying and a mess but whats most important is that these new moments are documented for you to look back on forever. Photography is an investment but one worth making!
