Renee and Dan Intimate Lilacia Park Lombard Illinois Sunset Wedding

I am IN LOVE with these intimate weddings at sunset! I have had a few these year and they are just so gorgeous. Renee and Dan’s wedding at Lilacia Park in Lombard was no exception. Initially the plan was for use them and the officiant but they had a few friends and family crash the party :)

One of the great things about these intimate weddings even though we typically are only together for 2 to 4 hours, is that there is more time for you. More time to explore. More time to do what you want. We have had couples shotgun beers, do first dances on front porches, go golfing. These more intimate weddings have really allowed couples to focus on whats most important to them!

While their evening was perfect, they had a few hiccups along the way. Renee and I met to discuss photography and video questions at Lilacia one day. It just so happened to be the morning after the derecho came through so the park was blocked off due to trees being down everywhere. The second time we went it started raining on us. Third time really is the charm!

I am so happy for Renee and Dan and this beautiful new life they are building together. It all started at work when paper fell on Dan’s head and Renee saw him for the first time. Congrats to the newlyweds!!
