Elizabeth Masters Program Portraits Brightonwoods Orchard Burlington Wisconsin
Elizabeth graduated with her masters as a Reading Specialist earlier this year during quarantine. On top of teaching during quarantine she was also finishing up her masters which I find to be incredibly impressive. So what better what to celebrate than to do your annual ladies trip to an orchard and get photos taken??
Lex and I had never been to the Brightonwoods Orchard before but it was so cute! It is a small orchard but the trees are gorgeous, they have a winery, apple cider donut stand, shop, and pumpkins. PLUS tons of photo op locations. And despite this being in Wisconsin where restrictions aren’t the same as they are in IL, I felt pretty good about being there! Everything was spaced out, there weren’t tons of people, and masks were required in the shop. If you are looking for a fun place to do some fall activities with a change of scenery from where you live this isn’t too far over the border :)
I also want to give a little shout out to the teachers who are currently working in very difficult situations right now, trying to provide a good education to their students but trying to do so safely. Elizabeth and Gwen deserve all the air hugs for what they do. Teachers are often under appreciated on a good day and especially right now. So thank you for all that you do!
