Krista and Patrick Camp Emmaus Oregon Illinois Engagement Session

Is there anything cooler than having an entire camp to yourselves for an engagement session?? It was also a little eerie pulling up and parking and feeling like we shouldn’t be there. Mind you, this was just at the start of spooky season so you almost had this feeling that Jason was going going to come running out of the woods with a knife.

Krista and Patrick met at Camp Emmaus, got engaged at Camp Emmaus and will be getting married there next summer. I just love how integral a part this camp has played in their story and how it is going to be such an awesome setting for their wedding.

For their engagement session, we romped all over the camp to hit all the important spots to them but also iconic locations that make up a camp. So grateful that Krista and Patrick were up for all the exploring and even brought a bunch of ideas of their own! Like roasting marshmallows and making s’mores at the end. They so generously shared some with my very pregnant self so it was the perfect end to an awesome evening.
