Liz and Ray Vow Renewal Blumen Gardens Sycamore Illinois Wedding
Liz and Ray were the last wedding we shot before lockdown last year. Their wedding was literally the day lockdown started. No one knew what was going to happen in the coming days and you could tell everyone was a little on edge waiting to find out. Their wedding day had to be changed last minute and with the help pf friends and family they had a beautiful ceremony in Liz’s parents’ warehouse.
I remember feeling so sad that this was happening to them. To all the couples at that time who had to cancel wedding plans last minute or completely alter them before lockdown. But despite everything it was a beautiful day full of so much love and happiness for the newlyweds!
And getting to celebrate with them almost a year later was even better. The weather was PERFECT, Like usually and surprisingly perfect for a March day so we were able to do all the family formals and couples portraits outside. Everything felt lighter as they renewed their vows for each other. Lex and I felt super lucky that we got to be a part of both of their days.
So please, do yourself a favor and scroll through their photos because their wedding really was gorgeous. I also want to give a shout out to Catering by Diann who actually catered out wedding as well as Liz and Ray’s first wedding. They do amazing work. The food is always delicious and they are wonderful to work with. We love them so much we even went to their drive through on the way home to get a snack! Also, check out Blumen Gardens if you are looking for a venue. It is so dang pretty and full of so much character.
