I got an email from Cierra when I was in New Orleans in 2017 to photograph an FFL event. She was inquiring for her wedding in April of 2019. I instantly loved Cierra from her messages about her and Ty and was SO freaking excited when they booked us for their wedding. But the waiting game was strong. About a year after they booked us we met up for their engagement session in Chicago. And if you remember, I obsessed over their session for forever. They rolled up in the coolest outfits and just super in love. We ran all over this art district in Chicago in search of murals and we had the best time.

Almost a year after that they did not disappoint. Cierra looked INCREDIBLE, Ty could not stop smiling, they served brick oven pizzas, and basically had the best dance party ever. Their entire day was at the old Masonic Temple called The Silver Fox in Streator. When we pulled up that day I basically did a happy dance because the venue was full of so much character. One of the most unique places we have shot at so far!

Many details of their day involved stars so I thought it was only fitting when we walked into their ceremony to see the twinkle string lights and blue walls. It was like it was meant to be! I also have to point out all the gorgeous decor Cierra and Ty included in their day. They did a photoshoot of their three adorable dogs as their table numbers and it was basically the cutest thing ever!

I also want to give a shout out to Wooden Paddle for serving one of the most delicious meals we have ever had a wedding and for just being awesome vendors to work with! The Silver Fox also had an awesome and super friendly team who made it so much fun to shoot there.
