Kathy and Matt Maternity Session Blackwell Forest Preserve Warrenville

When Kathy told me she was pregnant we were getting dinner at Red Arrow. She wanted to get together before Christmas. She handed me what I thought was just a Christmas card and ended up being a pregnancy announcement. I was SO excited I started tearing up. Kathy had hinted at how they were thinking of starting a family so I was thrilled for them when she told me they were expecting a baby this June. Can it be June already?? I just know that these two are going to be awesome parents! They have been working away on their home getting it ready for the baby’s arrival.

The countdown is getting real my friends! We are already in the first week of May and this year is flying by so before we know it their baby will be here. Did I mention they are having a boy? I cannot wait to meet this little guy!

I have been swooning over their photos since we left their session. Kathy said she was nervous since they hadn’t don’t any sort of professional photos outside of their wedding. So naturally I couldn’t wait to get them in front of the camera and have some fun :D And um, don’t you think they nailed it?
