Kaitlyn and Mark Oak Hill Farms Galena Wedding

Kaitlyn and Mark’s wedding was one of those days where we left feeling completely over the moon. We could not stop talking about just how awesome those two are and how happy we got to be a part of everything.

I had never been to Galena before. So on Saturday we went downtown to get a little breakfast and I about died of happiness. I could not believe we had never gone! It was right up mine and Lex’s alley. So many cute shops, restaurants, and breweries to hop in and out of. We decided we for sure would be going back.

When we pulled up to their venue at Oak Hill Farms, my mouth dropped. I could not get over just how incredible this venue was. It has barns, a chapel, a school house, donkeys, horses, and evergreens lined with string lights. It was a dream wedding venue! If you ever have the chance to attend a wedding there or are looking for a place to have your wedding then you need to check this place out. Scroll through the photos below and you will see why.

One super awesome thing that was a first for me at a wedding was their first dance song. It was created specifically for them! I loved how personal that made their day. And that was just one way they made their wedding uniquely them. You can hear their first dance song in the video below. They also got custom converse made in their colors with their wedding date on them. I am a sucker for an awesome pair of shoes on a wedding day!

Kaitlyn and Mark had a burrito, taco, and quesadilla station at their wedding. This was a local Mexican restaurant they loved to frequent by their apartment. They don't typically cater but were willing to this time for such loyal customers. The food was AMAZING. Mexican food is always a good idea.

Thank you so much to Kaitlyn and Mark and all of their loved ones for making our jobs so easy and being so wonderful to work with. We had a blast hanging out with you guys all day and would happily do it all again :)
