Gardner Family In Home Session Rochelle Illinois 2020

It feels like just yesterday I was running around Churchill Woods with Megan and Bobby during their maternity session and now I had the pleasure of documenting their growing family in their home <3

I love a good in home family session!! One of my biggest recommendations for family session is either doing your shoot in your home where your kids feel comfortable or going somewhere where they can run around and be silly. And boy did we get silly during their session :)

This was actually my first time meeting Felicity but I felt like we were already best friends! When I got there, she was watching Coco on TV. Lex and I had just been discussing what our favorite Disney movies were and Coco is definitely mine! She also was snacking on a donut, girl after my own heart. We played kitchen and even had a dance party to Frozen. Bobby warned me there was going to be a moment where it sounded like Felicity was screaming but she was actually just hitting the high notes in Into The Unknown. I was dying! So much fun to have a little dance and sing along party in their living room.

These are the kinds of moments I love and live for during a family session! Ones where the whole family are just interacting and having fun. Thanks for having me into your home you guys, It was a blast and I cannot wait for the next chance for me to capture moments like this again!
